Cause to celebrate!

Today was a huge day for me on my journey as an emerging artist. After submitting several works to the Strange History: Alternate Realities open call curated by Historic Crypto for Sloika's Montage space on the SuperRare platform recently, I learned this morning that my piece titled 'The Unraveling' was chosen among the second group of five winners. For those times when I want to share content that is less ephemeral than social media, such as details about the process behind my work or updates on projects and my life as an artist, this is the place to be. I first started working on a website for Claire Silver's fourth AI art contest. Sadly, I tried doing it the hard way: custom coded with the help of GPT4. While I made tremendous progress on getting a basic website put together that looked almost identical to this, the complexity of working in VS Code for me, a no-code beginner, eventually became overwhelming.  Using Google Sites, I have now recreated the custom website's aesthetic while also advancing much further, an example of which is this updates page, which I was unable to implement successfully. I had no idea that Blogger still existed, and it was unbelievable easy to integrate with Google Sites.
